The Vision

School of Encounter is an 8-week Apostolic, Creative Sending & Receiving School, for training and empowering young men and women to bring them into the fullness of all that Christ has for them by equipping and empowering students with tools and wisdom to faithfully join God in His mission to see the Gospel impact every family, every neighbourhood, every city, every nation until the whole earth is filled with the Glory of God.

We do this through intentional discipleship, skills training, workshops, community living, and through creative arts.

‘Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,Or all peoples. baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”’

Matthew 28:18-20

‘Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with Or in; also in water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”’

Acts 1:4-8

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

‘Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper ), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.’
